ASTANA. February 13. KAZINFORM – A roundtable titled Regional financial center: opportunities for regional emitters and investors was held today on the initiative of the Kazakh agency for control over the Regional Financial Center of Almaty city. The roundtable was held under the auspices of akimat of Atyrau town. Issues concerning development of stock market, cost recovery scheme, attraction of financial resources were discussed at the roundtable. A memorandum of understanding and cooperation between akimat of Atyrau and the Kazakh Agency controlling activity of the Almaty financial center was signed there. The memorandum was adopted with a view of activation of stock market, attraction of the emitters, participants and retail investors of the west region of Kazakhstan. 13.02.07
