Kazakhstan Today - In May of 2008 the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan plans to hold five auctions of short-term notes for the sum of 200 billion KZT, the agency reports referring to the message of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan. According to the schedule the first auction was held yesterday, May 4, the rest will be held on May 8, 16, 23 and 30. The period of papers' circulation is 26, 29, 28, 28, 28 days accordingly. Volume of each issue - 40 billion KZT.
