Astana. July 1. Kazakhstan Today - On the occasion of celebrations of the Day of Capital, on July 6, Kazakhstan citizens will have 3 days off, the agency reports. Kazakhstan adopted amendments to the legislation, according to which the Republic will celebrate the new state holiday - Day of Capital on July 6. According to the Law on Holidays in Kazakhstan, days of the national and state holidays are non-working days. When a day off coincides with a holiday, a day off is the one following the holiday. As July 6 is Sunday, a day off will be on Monday. Hence, Kazakhstan citizens will have 3 days off on occasion of celebration of Day of Capital on July 5, 6 and 7. As it was informed earlier, this is year will be 10th anniversary of the date of carrying over of the capital from Almaty to Astana. The celebrations will last till July 6.
