Kazakh PM surveyed activity of Mangystau enterprises

AKTAU. February 22. KAZINFORM /Nadezhda Ivanova/ - Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Massimov paid a working visit to Mangystau oblast on February 21.Karim Massimov was accompanied by Serik Akhmetov, the Minister of Transport and Communication, Temirkhan Dosmukhanbetov, the Minister of Tourism and Sport, Galym Orazbakov, the Industry and Trade Minister of Kazakhstan, Bakhtykozha Izmukhambetov, the Kazakh Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, Gulzhana Karagusova, the Minister of Labor and Social Protection, and deputies of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan. The Kazakh delegation visited TenizService naval operations’ support base in Bautino Port. TenizService JSC is a subsidiary company of NC KazMunaiGaz and KazTransFlot companies. Its goal is to form the waterside infrastructure for carrying out of sea petroleum operations. Later Mr. Massimov paid a visit to Agip KPO base to get acquainted with the company's activity. According to its director general the base received ISO 14001 certificate in 2005. The Kazakh delegation chaired by Karim Massimov got familiarized with MAEK-Kazatomprom and KazAzot JSC activities. Besides, Karim Massimov held a meeting on socio-economic development of Mangystau oblast. Krymbek Kusherbayev, the akim (mayor) of Mangystau oblast, thanked Mr. Massimov for the visit and informed him of the investment projects. The PM underlined importance of the region’s development for Kazakhstan
