Prime Minister held meeting on current situation with energy supply of capital and development of energy complex
Astana. August 28. Kazakhstan Today - The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, held the meeting concerning current situation with energy supply of the capital and development of energy complex on Wednesday in akimat of Astana, the agency reports referring to prime minister's press service. "Akimat of the capital presented plans of reconstruction and modernization of the existing power capacities and defining of the form of financing of construction in Astana of thermal power station-3," the press release informs. K. Masimov charged the Ministry of Economics and Budgetary Planning of Kazakhstan within two days to consider the question of introduction into the project of three-year budget of financing of works on reconstruction of the system of energy supply of the capital. The decision on financing of construction of thermal power station-3 on concessional basis in the form of state-private partnership has been accepted at the meeting. The Prime Minister charged to create work group headed by the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources. The group within 10 days will work over all conditions for announcement of competition on construction of thermal power station-3 on concessional basis.
