Kazakhstan government to start development new Customs Code - Masimov

Almaty. September 9. Kazakhstan Today - The government of Kazakhstan will start development of the new Customs Code. The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, informed during conference - Central Asia. Investment Opportunities. New Silk Way, the agency reports. "Using the best practices, we have created a new model based on introduction of progressive taxation mechanism and significant simplification of procedures of tax administration. We plan to conduct a similar work concerning customs administration," K. Masimov said. Quantity of documents has been already reduced and procedures of customs registration of goods and vehicles through customs border of Kazakhstan have been simplified. The Prime Minister mentioned that transition since 2009 to integrated customs control that will provide real decrease in administrative barriers for the international trading companies working in Kazakhstan will be a new decision.
