President of Kazakhstan estimates potential of mutual investments between Russia and Kazakhstan in $40 billion
Astana. October 31. Kazakhstan Today - The President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, estimates potential of mutual investments between the Russian Federation and Kazakhstan in $40 billion. The President of Kazakhstan informed on Thursday during the meeting with the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, the agency reports. "Investment programs between Kazakhstan and Russia - with prospect of $40 billion," N. Nazarbayev said and mentioned joint projects with Russian companies EuroHim, Mechel, and cooperation in the field of electric power industry on the basis of Ekibastuz state district power station. The President of Kazakhstan reminded that today JSC Company National Company Kazakhstan temir zholy signed memorandums with two Russian machine-building companies: JSC Transmashholding and JSC IST. As it was informed earlier, the documents were signed during the meeting of the Prime Ministers of Kazakhstan and Russia, Karim Masimov and Vladimir Putin, on Thursday. The cooperation memorandum was signed with JSC Transmashholding and the memorandum of intention and cooperation in the field of construction of freight cars was signed with JSC IST.
