Kazakhstan Today - The Minister of Industry and Commerce of Kazakhstan , Vladimir Schkolnik, said at the 20th plenary session of the Council of Foreign Investors that creation of the industry serving the needs of subsoil users is an important goal in Kazakhstan, the agency reports. The Minister of Industry and Commerce of Kazakhstan, Vladimir Schkolnik, reminded that the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and a group of the companies-subsoil users signed the Memorandum of development of national content in the service market of subsoil users and the Memorandum of realization of the initiative of transparency of implementation of procurements of subsoil users in March, 2006". "The memoranda have been signed by 41 oil-and-gas companies, 21 mining companies, and 74 domestic manufacturers," he specified.
