Almaty. December 9. Kazakhstan Today - JSC National Company KazMunaiGas signed a number of agreements on exploration and extraction of hydrocarbons. The President of the National Company, Kairgeldy Kabyldin, informed after signing the agreements on Friday, the agency reports. "We signed one agreement on the joint activity with Company ConocoPhillips and the Company from the United Arab Emirates Mubadala on block N," K. Kabyldin noted. "According to this agreement KazMunaiGas concedes its share of the contract on subsoil use - 24.5 % in favor to ConocoPhillips and Mubadala." This deposit has geological stocks of about more than 630 million tons," he said. "We also signed the agreement on the joint activity in the field of exploration works with BG Company and with our affiliated company RD. The essence of this agreement is further joint activity regarding preparation and training of the Kazakh personnel, joint search of potential blocks of exploration of hydrocarbon raw materials both in the territory of Kazakhstan and in the international portfolio BG," KazMunaiGas chairman emphasized. We also signed the agreement with the local investors through the joint venture Caspian TriStar on the block Dead Kultuk.
