Semipalatinsk to be center of social-entrepreneurial zone Yertis
SEMIPALATINSK. March 6. KAZINFORM /Lina Slavina/ Within the framework of the working trip to East Kazakhstan region Prime Minister of the country Karim Massimov took part in the session of Semipalatinsk core group, Kazinform reports. In the trip to the oblast the head of the Government is accompanied by 9 ministers, 4 deputies of Mazhilis (Lower House of the Kazakh Parliament), CEO of Kazyna JSC Kairat Kelimbetov and president of Kazatomprom JSC Mukhtar Dzhakishev. During the session PM noted that it was his first regional trip after President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev had delivered the annual Address to the Nation outlining new tasks and goals. He also informed the attendees of the round table that the Industry and Trade Ministry of the country proceeded to work on the creation of the social-entrepreneurial zone Yertis on the instruction of the President. It will embrace Pavlodar and East Kazakhstan regions with the center in Semipalatinsk.
