EDB allocates $18.9 million to financing of development of export grain project

Almaty. January 20. Kazakhstan Today - The Eurasian Development Bank (ЕDB) starts financing of the project directed at development of export grain in Kazakhstan, the agency reports citing EDB press service. According to the press service, according to the credit contract signed by the Vice President of the EDB board, Kambar Shalgimbayev, and the General Director of JSC Company Holding KAZEKSPORTASTYK, Igor Ermolenko, on realization of the project for the period of 5 years, the bank provides $18.9 million. The purpose of the project is increase of volumes of export grain to Turkey, Italy, Iran and other countries - the main consumers of Kazakhstan wheat of firm grades, due to development of flour-grinding manufacture, capacities of storage, and export infrastructure in the North-Kazakhstan region of Kazakhstan.
