ASTANA. April 6. KAZINFORM /Kurmat Samarkhan/ SamrukKazyna National Welfare Fund has entered into housing repurchase agreements with ten construction companies of Astana, Gosman Amrin, Chairman of the Board of Real Estate Fund of SamrukKazyna has announced at the Government’s telephone conference today. As earlier reported, repurchase of apartments by SamrukKazyna Fund at fixed prices is one of the measures to support Almaty and Astana cities developers. According to G. Amrin, the Fund has already concluded 16 agreements with construction companies, ten – in Astana and six – in Almaty. “The investments amount up to KZT 23,2 bln. Over 9, 600 apartments will be ready to move in upon completion of the construction. Problems of around 6, 500 shareholders will be solved and 230.8 thousand sq m will be put into operation on the housing market”, he said. “The volume of the investments exceeding KZT 13 bln will allow completing construction of about 7,5 thousand flats, 5 600 of which belong to shareholders. Thus 1, 600 new flats will be provided on the capital’s market. Within the adopted measures and our stakeholder’s instruction we plan to start primary financing this week”, the Chairman of the Fund noted. As Akim of Astana Imangali Tasmagambetov pointed out 1 sq m of housing will cost KZT 96,000 plus a correction index connected with the location of the project and its certain technical characteristics. According to the representatives of the Real Estate Fund, the purchased flats will be used for realization of program on rental housing development.
