KARAGANDA. April 17. KAZINFORM /Valentina Yelizarova/ ArcelorMittal Temirtau company and Karaganda oblast authorities have entered into agreement on financing a number of social projects in the region. “The memorandum will be signed in late April”, Vice President of ArcelorMittal, Director General of ArcelorMittal in Kazakhstan Frank Pannier informed. According to him, KZT 1 bln are planned to be invested in the region’s social sphere. The point at issue is realization of the projects in Karaganda, Temirtau and mining towns. The Company will continue financing “Shakhter” football team and will allot funds for reconstruction of sports facilities and invest in improvement of the car barn in Temirtau, he explained.
