ASTANA. May 20. KAZINFORM /Aigul Tulekbayeva/ Head of KazAgro National Holding Asylzhan Mamytbekov considers that Kazakhstan can supply about 200 thousand tons of meat to Russia. Answering the questions of businessmen at the Congress of Kazakhstan Entrepreneurs, A. Mamytbekov said that the Holding was interested in beneficial and attractive productions which deliver meat both to domestic and external markets. Speaking on export he noted that “we would not be able to cover 1.5 mln tons of meat imported by Russia, since separate regions of Russia used to consume deep-frozen meat”. “We can supply 200 thousand tons of refrigerated vacuum packed meat”, he said.
