PAVLODAR. September 17. KAZINFORM /Vera Livintsova/ President N. Nazarbayev has finished his working trip to Pavlodar region with launch of a new ether and propylene plant in Pavlodar. The project with the cost of KZT 5.5 bln was constructed by 'Neftehim Company' LLP. Its capacity is 20 thousand tons of methyl tert-butyl ether, 30 thousand tons of polypropylene and 35 thousand tons of propylene a year. Having launched the new plant President N. Nazarbayev addressed the enterprise workers: "I congratulate you on the launch of the plant. 350 people found job here. In the time of the economic crisis when the most enterprises suspend their production we in Kazakhstan did not cut a single working place. Today I have taken part in the launch of new power line 'North-South' in Ekibastuz. Now together we open this plant which is of great importance since its production is necessary for producing high-octane petrol, polypropylene which we use every day. Mastering difficulties the economy is steadily overcoming the crisis, the situation is getting better and we are preparing for the next step. The next five years we will build several hundreds of enterprises including your region. They will create new jobs for better life of the people and prosperity of Kazakhstan", - N. Nazarbayev said. The Mayor of Pavlodar region accompanied the President in his working trip.
