ASTANA. September 24. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Oil pumping via the Kenkiyak-Kumkol pipeline will start in October 2009, Minister of Energy Sauat Mynbayev announced at the IV Eurasian Energy Forum in Astana today. "We have completed construction of the Kenkiyak-Kumkol pipeline. Oil pumping is expected to start in October 2009. Initially we plan to produce 10 million tons per year. This is an important event which means Kazakhstan will possess its own pipeline infrastructure for export of West Kazakhstan oil to China", the Minister pointed out.
