GDP growth by 6% expected in agriculture
ASTANA. October 5. KAZINFORM /Aigul Tulekbayeva/ The Kazakh Ministry of Agriculture expects the GDP growth by 6% this year.
"The task on the GDP growth by 3% in was set in the agricultural sector. We expected the growth by 4.8% earlier. Today taking into account the balk yield and expected oil-yielding crop the GDP growth is expected by 6%", Kazakh Minister of Agriculture Akhylbek Kurishbayev said at the telephone conference of the Kazakh Government.
He reminded that Kazakhstan has harvested record crop of cereals this year - over 20 mln tons in bunker weight.
