Industrial-innovative infrastructure creates added value of KZT 7 trln: Head of Kazakhstan

ALMATY. October 13. KAZINFORM /Daniyar Sikhimbayev/ "The crisis showed that there is no an alternative to the forced industrial-innovative development", Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev has said today, lecturing before the audience of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The Head of the State reminded that he set correspondent task at the 12 Congress of "Nur Otan" Party. "I defined seven priorities of the innovative industrialization. These are technologic rearmament and extensive modernization of the agrarian sector. It becomes the optimal exporter of our products. The world experiences lack of provisions. The consumption is growing up. And we having great opportunities are able to export more agricultural products and raise this sector of the economy to anew level", the Head of the state noted. Besides, the development of construction industry and production of construction materials, oil refining and infrastructure of the oil-and-gas sector are among the priorities as well. The Kazakh President also referred to the development of metallurgy and production of ready metal products, development of the chemical, pharmaceutical, defense industry, modernization of energy sphere, and development of transport and telecommunications infrastructures. "Great work is conducted on all these directions. As the result annual value added to the amount of KZT 7 trln or almost 50% of our national product will be created. Due to it we will create conditions for further improvement of welfare of Kazakhstan", N.Nazarbayev said.
