Foreign direct investments inflow makes up to USD 8 bln H1 2009 - K.Massimov

ASTANA. October 19. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ Inflow of foreign direct investments made up about USD 8 bln in the first half of the year. Kazakhstan Prime Minister Karim Massimov has announced it at an enlarged session of faction of the Nur Otan People's Democratic Party. According to him, over nine months of 2009 investments in the basic capital not just maintain at the same level, but increase by 2.2 percent; the investments volume from the national budget increased by 5 percent. Inflow of foreign direct investments made up about USD 8 bln in the first half of the year. There were reached agreements on additional investments attraction with our foreign partners for joint projects implementation in the volumes: USD 13 bln from China, USD 5 bln from Korea, USD 3 bln from Russia, over USD 2 bln from France.
