Funding of Kazakhstan's agro-industrial sector to be increased
ASTANA. November 6. KAZINFORM. /Muratbek Makulbekov/ The volumes of state financing of the agro-industrial complex will reach KZT 391.1 billion by 2014. Kazakh Vice Premier Umirzak Shukeyev has said it at the parliamentary hearings devoted to the tasks on industrialization of the agro-industrial complex and measures on effective use of budget funds in the Senate. "Contrary to the previous program it is decided to ensure financing of activities in the seven priority directions in advance and without cut", the Voce Prime Minister noted. He said that KZT 137 billion will be allocated for realization of measures of the program. The amount of allocated funds will increase annually and by 2014 it will make KZT 391.1 billion. Deputies of the Parliament, heads of Ministries and Departments, Development Institutes, representatives of agro-enterprises take part in the sitting. "The Parliament held big work on modernization of the legislative base of the agro-industrial complex, bringing it into harmony with the international practice. I would like to lay emphasis on the Land, Water and Forestry Codes that created absolutely new conditions for the development of the private initiative and allowing farmers share responsibility for natural resources utilization with the state", Chairman of the Senate Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev noted. The Speaker noted that today it is increase of the export potential of the Kazakh agricultural products. According to the Speaker, this problem can be resolved by industrialization of the agro-industrial complex.
