EBRD provides EUR 500,000 for detailed study of Kazakhstan legislation regulating ore-mining industry
ASTANA. December 3. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development provided EUR 500,000 for detailed study of the Kazakhstan legislation regulating ore-mining industry. President of Bank Thomas Mirow has said it at a conference devoted to the issues of security in the sector in Astana Thursday. "Under the support of the Japanese Government the EBRD proposes Kazakhstan to conduct detailed study and review of the legislation regulating ore-mining industry in order to define those spheres which can benefit from international experience to improve their activity", he noted. "We are waiting for the Kazakh Government's approval of the launch of such important project and we are confident that this analysis will promote further improvement of the legal sphere", T. Mirow concluded.
