Kazakhstan is interested in purchase of oil-and-gas capacities in Croatia

Astana. July 5. Kazakhstan Today - Kazakhstan is interested in purchase of oil-and-gas capacities on the territory of Croatia. The President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev said today at the press conference after the meeting with the President of Croatia Stepan Mesic. According to the President, Kazakhstan is interested to participate in oil pipeline Friendship - Adriya. The leaders of two states noted that the level of bilateral commerce does not correspond to potential of Croatia and Kazakhstan. According to Kazakhstan Statistics Agency, in 2006 commodity turnover between two countries made $7.4 million, for January - March, 2007 - $27.8 million. "Mutual relations between our countries have not reached a satisfactory level. We can and should reach greater results that is advantageous for Croatia and Kazakhstan," S. Mesic. The President of Kazakhstan informed that the arrangement on creation of consular services of Kazakhstan in Croatia and Croatia in Kazakhstan has been reached, which will gradually become high-grade embassies. Answering journalists' questions S. Mesic noted that his country supports Kazakhstan intention to preside in OSCE in 2009.
