Astana. January 30. Kazakhstan Today - The President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev proposed to realize the national project Intellectual Nation 2020. The leader of the state said today during the forum of grant-aided students of Bolashak program, the agency reports. "I wish to share the idea of the national project Intellectual Nation 2020." Its overall objective - education of the Kazakhstan citizens in a new format, transformation of Kazakhstan into the country with the competitive human capital," N. Nazarbayev said. "The project should consider three potential factors." "The first factor concerns innovative development of the education system," he noted. The second key factor of realization of the project, according to the leader of the state, should become information revolution. "In this sphere we seriously lag behind," N. Nazarbayev emphasized. In particular, the President suggests "creating on the basis of park of information technologies near Almaty large regional University with participation of the leading high schools and attraction of the best experts from abroad." "The third direction on realization of the project is spiritual education of the youth," the President noted. "It is necessary to consider influence of the processes of globalization, which we should contrast with strengthening of national-cultural values and morality of the young generation," the leader of the state concluded.
