According to the press service of the Emergency Ministry, the earthquake in the epicenter in 980 kilometers of the northeast from Almaty struck at the border of Kazakhstan with Russia on January 30 at 2.02. The nearest settlements: city of Semey and Zaisan. According to the press service of the Emergency Ministry, the magnitude of the tremors in the epicentre reached six points. Tremors were felt in the city of Semipalatinsk. There are neither victims nor injured.
