Tariffs in Kazakhstan to grow under rigid control of government - Masimov

Astana. February 14. Kazakhstan Today - Tariffs will grow under rigid control of Kazakhstan government in 2008. The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Masimov said today at the expanded government session in Astana, the agency reports. "This year tariffs will grow under rigid control of the government. The government will make specific proposals for social protection of the disadvantaged layers of the population," the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan said. The Prime Minister noted that the government of parliamentary majority reports to the President this year for the first time that realizes essentially new models of authority. Masimov noted that the laws necessary for realization of the Message of the leader of the state were accepted last year and expressed gratitude to the Parliament deputies for constructive work.
