Kazakhstan Today - Industrial emissions of Karachaganak Petroleum Operating Company (KPO) occupies the greatest relative density of total amount of emissions to the atmosphere in the Western Kazakhstan oblast, the Territorial Department of Environment Protection of the Western Kazakhstan oblast informed the agency. "The company does not pay due attention to reduction of harmful emissions into the atmosphere," R. Suerbayev emphasized.
