Insurance premiums receipt in Kazakhstan insurance market in I half-year grown by 16 %
Almaty. July 31. Kazakhstan Today - Following the results of the first half of 2008 insurance premium receipts in the Kazakhstan insurance market has made 90.013 billion KZT that is by 16 % higher than within a similar period last year, the agency reports referring to PR Department of JSC Company Insurance Company Eurasia. "55.1 % accounts for five leaders of premium collection: Insurance Company Eurasia - accounts for 14.7 %, IC Victoria - 11.7 %, IC Alliance Policy - 11.1 %, Kazakhinstrah - 10.6 %, IC Kazcommerce Policy - 7 %," the press release informs. According to СК IC Eurasia, for the first 6 months of 2008 insurance premiums received under reinsurance contracts from non-residents have totaled 7932 million KZT. IC Eurasia accounts for 7808 million KZT or 98.43 % of total amount of the premiums received in Kazakhstan from non-residents. As of today, the insurance company offers its services in more than 75 countries of the world. As of July 1, 2008 the assets of the company have reached 43.380 billion KZT, having increased by almost 1.5 times in comparison with January - June, 2007. The stock of the company has made 24.282 billion KZT that is by 1.5 times more than within a similar period last year. JSC Company IC Eurasia was created in 1995. In 2007 the international rating agency A. M. Best has confirmed IC Eurasia ratings of financial stability at "B++" level and credit rating "bbb", the forecast is Stable. This rating of A. M. Best is the highest among the CIS countries, Central and East Europe.
