National Bank retained official refinancing rate - 7%
ALMATY. 05.01.2010. KAZINFORM /Daniyar Sikhimbayev/ In conformity with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan the board of the National Bank decreed to fix official refinancing rate at 7% per annum as of January 1, 2010.
Following the results of 2009 annual inflation was 6.2%. The annual inflation is not expected to exceed 7% in the first quarter of 2010. In this regard protection of the official refinancing rate at the same level - 7% is the most efficient one.
