1 billion KZT returned to state budget for infringements of requirements of subsoil use legislation
Astana. March 20. Kazakhstan Today - More than 1 billion KZT have been received by the state budget for infringements of requirements of the legislation in subsoil use, the agency reports referring to the press service of the State Office of Public Prosecutor of Kazakhstan. According to the press service, the Office of Public Prosecutor of the Western Kazakhstan oblast inspected observance of legality of granting of the right to subsoil use and control of execution of subsoil use contract obligations by the department of power and municipal services, the regional inspection of geology and subsoil use of the territorial management Zapkaznedr and observance of subsoil users of the legislation of Kazakhstan and license-contract conditions. During the inspection numerous infringements of legality expressed in non-observance of the order of signing the contracts on investigation and (or) extraction of minerals, prolongation of contracts have been revealed. No measures have been taken against careless subsoil use. The facts of illegal coordination of reduction of volumes of performance of the contract obligations have been revealed preventing effective and rational use of subsoils and normal development of mineral-raw complex in the region. Following the results of inspection by the bodies of the Office of Public Prosecutor of the oblast, seven statements on elimination of infringements of legality and five protests have been brought. Five people were called to account, including the chairman of the regional department of energy and municipal services Dusembayev and the chairman of the regional inspection of geology and subsoil use of the territorial department Zapkaznedr M. Tnaliyev.
